However, they also offer a Basecamp Personal version of their program. It's a free, but limited, version of the premium program, and is intended to be for personal projects, students, freelancers, families, etc. 

What We Think 

Compared to other similar software programs, Basecamp really packs a punch. Other software systems tend to require a number of third-party add-ons or separate apps to make up for missing features, but not Basecamp. Basecamp is an all-in-one program that is works well for any sized organization.
